The influence for this sculpture originates from Dartington Crystal's production methods that can be seen first hand within the factory. Taking the key structural elements of an optic mould, I created a conceptual response to the history of the company.

The circular formation shows resemblance to a clock, demonstrating the analogy of time that has passed since they established in 1967.

Each side of the dividers signifies a year of making, allowing the viewer to travel through Dartington Crystal's time span until reaching the single glass panel; a recognition of the 50th anniversary.
