The form of this spray sculpture was developed from earlier enquiries of an everyday object, the toothbrush.

By taking the key elements of the structure and enhancing only one particular feature, the overall design is manipulated and transformed to something with little resemblance to its initial structure.

The repetition of a linear form is a common theme that I explored; investigating how the act of grouping identical components in a pattern, can have a powerful effect on the aesthetics.
